Three days a week, keen young scientists search for answers to all their burning questions. The most committed explorers who take part in all three days are awarded the “Dolomiti Ranger Diploma” in the topic “World of Stone”. “Adventure Land” and children’s playground in Villabassa: At the adventure land kids from the age of 12 swing on the giant liana through the air and race down the gorilla slide. There is a stunning views from the tree house. The balance-tree and the climbing tree are a real challenge. If you’re tired from all that rushing about you can have a snooze in the hammock. For the younger ones the playground is equipped with swings, slides, sand pit, merry-go-round, see-saw, ropeway and a climbing frame, while adults discover the Kneipp facility, the open air inhalatorium and the botanical education trail. more information

Stoneman Kids is a sporting adventure for young people: The Stoneman Kids Bike Trail is a 14 km long circuit with an altitude differential of 200 m, stretching through water and crossing a river bed. The whole family can enjoy the Stoneman Kids Hike Trail over 6 km and 400 m altitude differential. For the Stoneman trails you get your armband stamped at the checkpoints and then collect your stony trophy. more information
Nature experience at lake Lago di Dobbiaco and lake Lago di Braies: Wading in the water, riding in a boat, making ships from bark and leaves and letting them float on the lake, walking barefoot over forest soil, grass and stones, ... on the shores of the lakes Lago di Braies and Lago di Dobbiaco children experience a holiday in the midst of nature.

Wildlife park: Nestling in the stunning landscape of the Alta Pusteria is the wildlife park in Carbonin Vecchia with many kinds of alpine animals: Fallow deer, red deer, roe dear, lynx and mouflons, wild boars, pheasants, eagle owls, snowy owls, raccoons, ducks, geese and many other animals. Nature at its best within your reach! You can reach the wildlife park by car or on foot via a gentle path from Dobbiaco.
The forest world WaldWunderWelt in Dobbiaco invites kids to play, climb, jump and to learn through interactive play. The central element is a wooden platform. Strands of root radiate into the surrounding environment, with trees for climbing, isolated “woodpecker tree”, otter slide, bare-foot circuit, birds nest, high jump facility and more. There are information stations with explanations about the woods, fungi, forest soil and animal tracks. There is also a geology station. There is also an interesting tree house, a Celtic tree horoscope and the nature park house Three Peaks in the nearby Grand Hotel.
High wire park - Adventure Park Parco avventura Dobbiaco: The first and largest high wire adventure park in the Val Pusteria valley consists of 14 circuits with different degrees of difficulty. Platforms are anchored in fir trees and larches, from which different kinds of elements with a different degree of difficulty begin. Nets, beams, tree trunks, ropeways and bridges of 3 - 60 m length connect the various trees. Kinderalm on the Monte Elmo: A mountain village with built to scale farm and huts is the perfect adventure playground for children. The farm features miniature rabbits, miniature chickens and other animals. Water fun with sluice gates, swings and a slide complete the offering. more information

Reindeer: The smallest reindeer herd of the Alps and the only one in Italy lives on the mountain Croda Rossa. Every Thursday children can help with feeding the animals.

Summer toboggan run Fun-Bob: At the mountain Baranci you find Italy’s number one summer toboggan run. Race your bob down into the valley, with a gradient of up to 40% and speeds of up to 10 m/sec and a big smile on your face.
Children’s Tree Tops Adventure Trail: At the Baranci climbers up to 8 years display their skills and courage on 2 climbing trails in 1.50 m height.
Small tubing run: Sit up at the Rifugio Baranci hut... on a very special tyre and career down the tubing run!
Orienteering: Ask at the Tourist Info Villabassa for an orienteering map and test how quickly you can find the listed locations and get your stamp at the control points. Fun for the whole family.
