Huts in the holiday region 3 Zinnen in the Dolomites: They can be a destination of a hike through the nature park Fanes-Senes-Braies and in the 3 Peaks nature park, a stop to refresh yourself on a longer tour, or for overnight stays during longer explorations. Visiting one of the rustic huts is an experience. Particular delights are the South Tyrolean Marende snack of Speck bacon, cheese and Schüttelbrot flat-bread, a Kaiserschmarrn with cranberries, dumplings and Schlutzkrapfen ravioli.

The Rifugio Auronzo is situated at an altitude of 2,333 m on the South side of the massif of the Three Peaks and can easily be reached on foot or by car. The hut, which is managed by the Alpine Association CAI Alpenverein Auronzo, offers unique panoramic views, excellent cuisine and the warmest welcome from all the staff. The hut is the ideal starting point for easy walks, such as a circular walk around the Three Peaks. It is also the centre point for many hikes and via ferratas.

The Rifugio Bonner is situated at an altitude of 2,340 m, on the sunny side of Dobbiaco below the Corno di Fana. The hut offers accommodation for up to 25 people, either in a dorm sleeping 11, or in several rooms with a total of 14 beds. Hot food is available from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. and much emphasis is placed on the use of organic products. The landlord therefore uses only high quality produce from South Tyrolean farms. Rifugio Bonner is situated at the crossing of the Bonner and the Dobbiaco high routes. You can also start your tour of the Corno di Fana from here.

The Rifugio Bosi is situated at an altitude of 2,205 m on Monte Piano. The First World War open-air museum is very close by. The hut has a bar and restaurant and it sells post cards, historic books, souvenirs and much more. The hut offers overnight accommodation for 20 people. In summer you can reach the Rifugio Bosi by a Jeep service from Misurina, in winter by snowmobile. Alternatively, you can hike to the Rifugio Bosi on hiking path No. 6 from Lago di Landro (upper section with via ferrata), from Carbonin on hiking path No. 6A, or from Misurina on high route No. 3.

From the large panorama terrace you enjoy unique views of the Three Peaks and the Monte Paterno. The easiest path to the hut is hiking path No. 101 from the Rifugio Auronzo (Around the Three Peaks tour), or you can climb from Val Fiscalina via Val Sasso Vecchio on path No. 102, or via Valle della Rienza, Landro (No. 102).

The refuge Vallandro is situated on the high plateau Prato Piazza at an altitude of 2.040 m. You can easily reach it by foot starting from the parking area on Prato Piazza. The refuge is surrounded by the mountain massifs of Croda Rossa, Tofana and Monte Cristallo and is a good starting point for hikes and climbing tours. The guests get delicious Tyrolean and Italian food in the snuggery or on the terrace. Overnight stays are possible.

The hut on the Alpe San Silvestro is located at an altitude of 1,800 m and offers stunning views across the valley. The hut offers Tyrolean cuisine from local produce. You can reach the Rifugio Alpe San Silvestro via the Rifugio Lachwiesen (hiking path No. 1A) or via the Valle San Silvestro (turn right after the Ristorante Genziana - hiking path No. 1). You reach the hut from Ponticello over the hiking trail n. 18 (time required: ca. 2 hours) or after a short hike from Prato Piazza.
